Well your outing sounds like more fun than mine on Saturday which is a wine festival with Mom and I am not a wine drinker. Hope you have a blast and be sure to behave.

Oh Miss Sharon Lee, you name sounds like it should be in a blues song! "Oh that Miss Sharon Lee done me wrong and it'll be long, long time before I'm ready to love another."

Well maybe there will be music there to get you through the day, the last one I went to had Reggae music. Bring on the red vino for me, I'd have no problem! hic

Cynthia - THis sounds like a lot of fun. I love the blues most of the time, but here in Nashville, we get a little spoiled by all types of music. Variety is the spice of life.

Cyn- sounds good, how long is the drive up?

I hear ya Elizabeth I love all kinds of music too, I'm anticipating it to be a blast! Hey are you near Cookeville by any chance? My Dad was born in that city.

Gee Tammy I'm guessing it would be about 12 hours or so for you so I'll have your room ready ok...any requests? Lucky for me it's right down the street :~D

the blues makes me sad....

Posted by Maureen McCabe, Columbus Ohio Real Estate (HER Realtors) about 9 years ago

I find some blues tunes are sad, saucy, rebellious, mischievous and quite funny Maureen and it's the way a musician plays his guitar. Put ten different musician together and you'll hear ten different sounds.

Maybe you need to come here to Granville on Sat. :~D

You are so funny my friend. Maybe I will have to try some. Definitely NO white though. VERY bitter. Mom will love it. She likes her wine and it knocks her out but it might be fun getting up the stairs at home. Thank you for that smile this morning.

Sounded so good that had to look up where Granville, Ohio was.  Come to find out I have been through there several times (going to Newark) for loss control inspections.  Sounds like a great day and evening, enjoy. I'm partial to blues myself, ranks just behind celtic.

Posted by Jack Gilleland (Home Inspection and Investor Services, Clayton) about 9 years ago

Oh Miss Sharon Lee, you gotta have your fun while you can and you could always dress Mom up in funny hat while she naps and take her pic!

Hey Jack, I'm right on the line of Newark & Granville, I can ride my bike to town too. We will have a blast at this bluesfest that for sure, I too like Celtic music.

Cynthia, I just love these events … just listening to tunes, relaxing, enjoying great foods, watching people, running into people I know, taking pictures, and recharging. This is a great localism post. Have fun. I’m looking forward to seeing photos after the event.

Oh Miss Sharon Lee, you are one naughty girl!

Hi Karen, I sure have! It's a lovely older historical town with super friendly people and quite a lot beautiful scenery left to explore. Lucky me :~)

Well too bad you are so far away Kathleen because you would fit right in. The comment you wrote is exactly what I plan to do. The pressure is on...I hope my photos turn out. I'll bring the tripod to ensure my photos don't turn out {{{wiggly}}}.

I can't wait for your reveal in Ralph's group!

Cynthia, so this is where you ended up in Ohio...love the Blues...Granville sounds like a great place to be......."surely jerk a knot in your tail"??????  I get it, just don't remember hearing it before!

Posted by Nick T Pappas, Madison & Huntsville Alabama Real Estate Resource (Assoc. Broker/Broker ABR, CRS, SFR, e-Pro, @Homes Realty Group, @HomesBirmingham & Providence Property Mgmnt, LLC Huntsville AL) about 9 years ago

Oh yes I do remember Miss Sharon Lee!

Well Nick here the scoop, I had one talented, encouraging, crazy and hilarious art teacher in high school and if one was misbehaving he would say in his southern accent "Don't you make me come over there and jerk a knot in your tail!" I never did act up in his class because he made it so fun for everyone no matter one's ability in the arts. I'll never forget the great art teacher Mr. Reuben Fox Canaday, totally unique!

Granville so far has turned out to be a very cool town!

LOL-Like elephants we women have memories that never quit. I am such a good girl REALLY!!!! Just a bit mischievious. Got to have a little fun in life right?

Posted by Sharon Lee, Retired and loving life (Sharon Lee's Virtual Assistance) about 9 years ago

It's ok to be mischevious as long as no one gets hurt and I know Sharon you would never do that :)

Posted by Cynthia Bartch, Redesigned Spaces; All Round Nice Gal (Home Stager/Property Stylist & more! Granville, Ohio) about 9 years ago

Cynthia  I said I would Google Granville.  Holy Moly - that is my kind of town - 3200 people in the foothills and 35 miles from "civilization"  You will be one very busy shutterbug

Posted by Karen Kruschka, - "My Experience Isn't Expensive - It's PRICELESS" (RE/MAX Executives) about 9 years ago

LOL Karen, my REA kept asking my husband and I if we were sure we wanted to live away from big shopping malls and such...we just laughed and said we're sure!!! Civilization is only a 35 mile drive away but we are pretty much self contained type of people.  One just has to get out and talk to the locals, get the skinny and explore this charming & friendly town. It's our heaven :~)

Thanks for the return visit...update w/ photos of the Bluesfest coming soon!

Posted by Cynthia Bartch, Redesigned Spaces; All Round Nice Gal (Home Stager/Property Stylist & more! Granville, Ohio) about 9 years ago

Cynthia-You are right my mischievousness and fun is harmless as I would never want to hurt anyone. Glad you had fun my friend.

Posted by Sharon Lee, Retired and loving life (Sharon Lee's Virtual Assistance) about 9 years ago
